Aunty Leina`ala, Noelani, Malie and Makana, U`i, Makanani, and I walked this year. The survivors, supporters, family, and friends touched us with their aloha. A young lady walked up to me after we had come out of the church along the walk and congratulated me. I automaticall said, thank you. However, when she passed us I read the sign on her back, "Survivor, 16 year old cervical cancer". Her boyfriend walked with her for his grandma and his girlfriend, Gina. Needless to say, we had trouble seeing with the tears that welled up in our eyes. Generosity of spirit and compassion abounded!
